Will wait for YouTube release, because ScrewAttack's video player sucks.

Basically it's like Mike Tyson vs Muhammad Ali in video games.

I think Balrog has this. They're pretty even but unless I'm forgetting something Balrog is stronger and more durable. Plus Combo removed the cybernetics that boosted his strength. Not that he isn't still badass, just not as badass as he could be.

So we have Balrog, a guy who comes in swinging trying to break his opponent, Vs TJ Combo, a classic "Float Like a Butterfly, Sting like a bee" boxer.

Well, in terms of Boxing, this'll be a fascinating match-up (Though if Android 18 VS Ms Marvel is anything to go by, TJ has the advantage there). I don't know enough about the combatants to make a proper prediction, so I'll just look forward to an awesome battle.

TJ's got his work cut out for him. Balrog's a slugger, so going off their approaches to boxing, if Balrog can stick to Combo he can take him down.

Though there's more at play here than just style, and their physical capabilities as well as their in-game movesets need ample consideration. Plus their canon victories and losses and all that jazz.

Okay with either winning, hoping for Balrog so Street Fighter can have its first win in around half a decade.

    Personal Suggestions:

    -Freeman vs Clarke

    -Scott vs Travis

    -Sokka vs Jaune

    -Frog vs Undyne

    -Jack vs Afro

I'd prefer Tucker vs. Jaune to avoid another Yang vs. Tifa blowback.

I still occasionally get a flashback to that.

@DudebladeX Though Sokka also comes from a franchise that Death Battle's supposed to be biased in favor of. The Gaara vs Toph blowback was much worse than the Yang vs Tifa blowback.

And I feel thematically Sokka vs Jaune is stronger and an all-around better match.

@KingJotun I really can't see Sokka vs Jaune being an even match. Jaune has a force field and some degree of super strength, while Sokka has a boomerang. Maybe for DBX but a full Death Battle it'd just be too obvious who wins that one.

@gurrenprime Sokka is stronger and tougher than people think (He pushed a boulder in the Sokka's Master episode that, by my estimate, was almost 5 tons in weight, and once got launched by Toph around 30-40 feet into the air while in his sleeping bag; he crash-landed on hard rock and walked/hopped away without any signs of injury), has more offensive options available to him (The boomerang, his water tribe machete, a sword made from a meteorite and general aptitude with a variety of weapons) and is the superior strategist by experience. Jaune is still stronger and tougher than Sokka, but the gap is not as wide as people think it is.

Ok, Sokka's tougher than I gave him credit for. That doesn't change the fact that he has no way of getting through Jaune's aura. Aura can tank gunshots and explosions, and as much as I'd personally love to see Sokka violently murder Jaune, I can't imagine any of his weapons having that same power behind them. Sure, his sword can cut through metal pretty easily, but so can Blake's sword (arguably more easily as she's cut through robots), which has never been shown breaking aura. Meanwhile Jaune can one-shot giant monsters with his sword, and I doubt Sokka is much more resilient than that. Basically all of Sokka's attacks would bounce harmlessly off Jaune, while a single of Jaune's attacks could bisect Sokka. How is that fair?

@gurrenprime Barring that Sokka's boulder-shoving feat shoves Sokka packs some serious force behind his strikes, you seem to think aura is indominable, when throughout the entire series aura is shown to be a diminishing source, much more like a realistic interpretation of a life bar than a barrier. It can be exhausted by continuous blows, and even Jaune has been put in dire straits from repeat strikes against him by enemies like ursai. The ursa in Forever Fall knocked him off his feet with its blows and nearly killed him before Pyrhha influenced the fight to allow him to kill the ursa. So no, the attacks wouldn't bounce harmlessly off Jaune's aura; he'd react as if he'd have truly been hit but the aura would tank the damage in his stead.

And again, given Sokka's strength not being far behind Jaune's, his superior ability to strategize and his wider arsenal of means by which to attack Jaune, there's actually debate to be had here. No denying Jaune's more durable than Sokka, but striking Sokka even one time will not be easy for him, especially considering Sokka's swordplay is so good he impressed a master swordfighter.

So, which boxer would PETA chase after first? The one that killed a defenseless elephant, or the one that killed an endangered dinosaur?

TJ Fought in self-defense. Considering PETA's track record with getting the RIGHT PERSON, they'd probably go after TJ first.

Hey Thomas Edison killed an elephant for an experiment, Balrog might just be a big Edison fan and did it as a homage.

@MajorM117 Well Edison was an asshole who got where he did by taking shortcuts, so he seems like the kind of guy Balrog would look up to.
