They do but when a Death Battle takes a while to finish they can be late but not this exent before.

I have been waiting for this Death Battle since Monday and they won't release it on here for some reason.

I learned the reason why. Besides I only use it to find out who wins early. I don't have a lot of patience

Okay, it's been a week, where's the fight?

Thor lost to a drunken Herculeas and was killed(later revived) by the spear of slaughter a similarly enchant weapon as Wonder Womans sword in Thor Blood Oath. It also cut off Volstaag's head who himself is an Asgardian. Wonder Woman has beaten Herculeas in Avenger vs Justice league crossover. Also Wonder woman can lift infinity until Death Battle say's they were wrong about the Spectre feat for the Goku vs Superman fight. Just lifting Spectre's pinky finger is considered lifting infinity and superman was not holding him by the middle of the cape. He held 1 side while Wonder Woman held the other keeping Spectre held level. Superman didn't carry most of the weight. It was evenly distributed(not that it matters anyway).

Have to disagree, Superman is known to be stronger therefore he lifted more. They stated that wonder woman didn't even need to be there. You state it is shown that Wonder Woman is helping hold Spectre level but this cannot be considered as valid as we know she is considerably weaker than Superman physically therefore this feat cannot be counted for her. What could be considered more likely for this "holding level" you describe can be explained by superman other feats such as when he lifts airplane's and large ships without them breaking under their own weight. When Superman lifts great weights and objects he actually extends his biofield around what he is lifting in order to stabilize it. So while it may appear Wonder Woman is helping the logic in Death battle still holds when accounting for superman's biofield.

Just one problem. Thor has won every single encounters of battle between both him and Hercules and only ended even with him in terms of physical strength.

And Thor was cleaning the floor with Superman, Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman in the first encounter between both teams.

Hmm I think a few of the main factors for this battle are as follows. Will WWs bracers stop Thors lightning? And if so, could it hurt Thor in turn when it redirects?  Second, will Thor have full access to the Odin Force? If so then he almost for sure will win. But it really depends on the constraints placed on each character, I think each character could win in specific conditions.

This is a fair point, both have the ability to win in certain circumstances but I believe Thor has a better chance overall.

All the arguments are moot its clear WW will win because her trailer was 18 seconds longer than Thor's. So there stop freaking arguing its all ready clear who will win

P.S. I just hope its a good battle I don't really care who wins

If they claim wonder woman can literally cut through anything and use it for her cutting mjolnir or getting a killing blow I'm going to have to say that is invalid right now. In the comic where they pull that panel from Wonder Woman states the sword can, in fact, cut through atoms  but there is a catch. Wonder Woman cannot see at the atmoic level, it comes up later after she and Superman are beaten and trapped by Zod. Both beaten and hurt they are unable to escape they decided to split an atom to  blast their way out and Wonder Woman needs Superman to guide her hand to cut the atom. She is not able to preform this on her own.

I also keep seeing people referring to how Wonder Woman helped lift Spectre as a strength. The problem with this argument is by Death Battle's own admission in Superman vs. Goku 2 this feat is pointless for her saying that "She didn't even need to be there" because Superman is stronger than she is so he was in fact lifting everything else which was literally everything.

I also see many claiming Wonder Woman is faster and I am hard pressed to find of speed feat of her's that even comes close to what Thor displayed in "Godbomb" where he travels lightyears in moments and who's speed causes stars to flicker like candles in the wind. We have no feats of speed from Wonder Woman that come even close to this.

Thor is stronger, faster, has more training (both taught to fight since a young age and Thor is much older than her) and more battle field experience. The logical winner is Thor, however the cast of Death Battle has been wrong before and may very well

"She is not able to preform this on her own"

Whether she can see atoms or not is irrelevant.  The fact remains that her sword is sharp enough to cut atoms

"We have no feats of speed from Wonder Woman that come even close to this."

She blocked many, many fragments of the Shattered God who traveled towards her from the center of the universe in a very small amount of time

      http://vsbattles.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:X_Heart_of_Steel_x/Wonder_Woman_(Post-Crisis)_Speed_Recalculated

An OBD calc of the same feat yielded an even faster result.  She's also tagged Flash-tier beings numerous times.  So on the contrary, Thor is the one who doesn't have feats that come close to her

As for strength, partially scaling to Superman and other DC characters helps narrow the gap between them, and her bracelets protect her from even Thor's best blows.  Skill-wise she has the edge too, as she's displayed her unarmed combat ability more often and has shown a mastery of far more weapons than Thor.  Being older doesn't make him more skilled, experience against a variety of opponents does, which they're even with

Also, I believe that Wonder Woman was able to move fast enough to enter the speed force by her own power. (link)

      @metabro

Yes the sword is capable, but by her own admission she cannot cut with that precision at will. So while the sword is indeed sharp that precise blow mentioned in the video above is not something she can just do whenever she desires. Think of how a samurai's armor is designed. It is plates of steel held together by silk. A sword cannot pierce the steel but it can cut through the silk binding those plates together. If a warrior can see those bindings it is relatively simple to cut them. But now scale this down to a level where the bindings can even be seen and add in a tighter weave (as would be the case given Thor's higher density) and it becomes very hard to sever those ties. I know it's not the same thing but a similar princable applys. This coupled with Thor's enormous durability means it will be hard to land a killing blow, the sword can certainly harm but not as much as Thor's hammer can do to her.

As far as speed it has been stated that she can keep up with The Flash at his cruising speed but not top speed. The speed he travels at normally has been calculate to be rather low. By her own admission as well she has been able to keep up with speedsters like Jesse Quick because she is riding the break in the air behind her, much like how racecar drivers do. The reaction time calculation provided was impressive but there are no concrete numbers for distance or time given for the calculations so there is a great deal of inferring done to gather those numbers. It also makes alot of assumptions when it comes to the gathering of the particles. It assumes they travel at great speeds to get to the broken god when iy simply states tbey have been summoned. This could very well mean they were teleported there before the barrage began. Even if they did travel the distance, it was stated they were pulled from everywhere, this includes both far and near so they wouldn't actually have to be moving anywhere near the speed calculated before the attack began because it was clearly stated the broken god's particles scattered all over the universe so that would include on or near earth.

When calculating feats of speed we need at least some loose measure of time and/or distance to get some idea of speed. So while the feat is impressive base on the sheer numbe of attacks deflected it would be illogical to assume it was at the speed that was calculated.

As far a skill the two may be close, but Thor has also mastered many weapons and is just as skilled in unarmed combat. Saying his age doesn't matter is also illogical. Both have trained since a young age to fight and this means Thor has trained more than Wonder Woman and he also have more practical battle experience against more varied foes. Thor has spent his life traveling the realms fighting virtually every kind of enemy. Wonder Woman on the other hand has spent most of her life isolated from the world, this means her practical experience would be much less than Thor's.

Cutting an atom and slicing electrons of an atom are very different, her swinging in the air inadvertently slices electrons off atoms. Cutting an atom means causing an atomic explosion, cutting electrons off an atom means splitting matter apart. If we're looking at mjolnir as an object that doesn't have any divine resistance to something like that (considering is a hammer of the gods and comic writers wanting to cover all their bases unlikely) then Wonder Woman's sword would theoretically be able to cut through mjolnir.

    • 8492nd FIRST Member Star(s) Indication of membership status - One star is a FIRST member, two stars is Double Gold

Her sword may be capable of it, but she doesn't have the ability to make those strikes. Superman had to guide her to do with the precision they are talking about.

But let's forget that for a moment. Let's say her sword may be able to cut on the molecular level. You know what? Mjolnir is capable of atomizing any weapon, and transmute substances. What's to stop him from just vaporizing her sword?

The Uru which Mjolnir is made of if harder and stronger than Adamantium even before enchantment, add the spells placed on it by Odin. Wonder Woman should not be able to do any damage to it with her weapons.

Also saying Thor has no speed feats on par with Wonder Woman is just categorically wrong, her speed is official at Flashes cruising speed, but not near his max. He can easily move at many times the speed of light, even when his power is cut in half, and can literally appear any where in the the Universe in a moment, not counting teleportation

The problem with the "Speed feats" you presented for Wonder Woman is they are arbitrary, and have no real source of measurement. Dragon Ball fans did the same thing when Goku fought Superman, they just made things that sounded good for their argument, but didn't have any real concrete data to back it up. Also some of the points in the linked discussion actually work against the speed feat. Like Earth not being in the center of the universe. The author tried to  make this sound like it low balled the affect. But in truth, if he really was scattered all over the universe, and by this to the literal ends, not just dispersed through out it, that means some would actully be closer than his estimated amount. This is an example of people twisting information to fit there own needs.

Also She's more Skilled? No, Thor's skill can allow him to beat the Hulk, when he had no powers at all and was a mortal man. She's as experienced as him? No, wrong again, He has WAY more experience than her.

I was starting to lean towards Thor, and then I read that Wonder Woman's sword can cut through atoms. Goodbye god of thunder, this is Shredder vs. Silver Samurai all over again. A speed advantage, better combat training, and what is basically the tachyon blade x10 is all WW needs to win this. Both combatants can one-shot each other, but WW can do it faster than Thor, so the point is moot.

Wonder Woman can lift infinity. Thor can't. She lifted Spectre with superman and a fraction of infinity is still infinity. she can also lift the hammer and use it against Thor like she did with Storm. Thor has been beaten by a depowered Beta Ray Bill and has been 1 punched by Superman. Wonder Woman has fought Superman to a standstill multiple times. Her sword can also cut atoms.  She could wrap Thor in a lasso and force him to tell her how to chnge him back to normal and then break his neck like she did in flash point against Captain Thunder. Thor's best hope is to kill her with thunder like how Storm defeated her but her durability has improved since her fight with Storm.

You can't have a fraction of infinity. While two were lifting one was carrying the weight.

    • g1NovaPrime

No because of the position he held the cape. Wonder Woman clearly held up the other side of Spectre as Superman held his. The weight was divided evenly. Supes would have to be in the middle for it not to be. Also they said it themselves in the second Goku vs Superman fight. "half of infinity is still infinity". so unless they want to back peddle on that feat then Wonder Woman gets it also. Dr. Fate has lifted Spectre on his own so he has infinite strength also. Oh and Black Adam is the same strength as Captain Marvel so he has infinite strength also because the book of Limbo feat. Then there's Super Girl and Power girl who are kryptonians with the same powers as Superman. There's also Doomsday and Amazo. All sorts of infinite strength characters in DC and that's not even getting into Captain Atom. In order to keep her side level with Superman she would have to lift just as much as him and technically if you lift even Spectre's finger you're lifting infinity.

Just so we are clear. Infinite and eternity are made so that the feat seems impressive. They just have an near impossible to count number. Not because is actually infinite. For example the book feat. Every second there is a new book in the multiverse. But every second is a new limit, a new number. The universe is in constant expansion. Everything keeps going. But in every second there is a new limit. So take the infinite feat with extreme prejudice.

I still think it'll be close, but Thor has it. Also since people keep asking what'll happen if she steals Mjolnir. I don't think it'll matter. With Thor's bigger build she won't be able to get it away from him. If she does her options are: shoot him with lightning, which won't do anything because he's immune to electricity, or try and hit him directly, which won't work because at that range he can just grab the hammer back. But we'll see.

She's the daughter of Zeus. I'm pretty sure lightning immunity or resistance comes with the package. Also, as you can see at 2:20 in this video, she's literally holding lightning with her bare hands with no ill effects.

Storm beat her with Lightning actually. But Wonder Woman is far stronger then Thor. she helped lift Spectre. So she has a lifted infinity feat like Superman Thor doesn't have that feat I think. She also once lifted his hammer

Storm beating her with lightning and Wonder Woman lifting Thor's hammer were from the Amalgam crossover fights, which were decided by fan votes and therefore nothing to do with them is considered when doing Death Battle research.

they count that crossover as research actually. they used it for the batman vs captain america fight. they combine sources canon or not.

If we use a Thor that transforms from the doctor, he's fucked on lasso rules alone.

If we go more current iterations that make him a god or god-like then he... well I think he's still boned.

The current iterations make them pretty on par with their near-immortality, Wonder Woman's healing factor is far better than Thor's, but Wonder Woman's sword seems like it'll be the tiebreaker here.

Thor's best shot is overpowering Wonder Woman in everything else, which he might be capable of but the scales are in Wonder Woman's favor.

Well...shit. Much as I love Thor, (more a Marvel fan, than DC) I do believe the god of thunder is properly fucked. If they're taking the 'Wonder Woman's sword can cut through an atom' thing into account, (which is super iffy, since it's only mentioned once, in a side story, if memory serves) then there is literally nothing Thor can do against her. She has a sword that is capable of triggering *millions* of nuclear detonations just by standing still. It's literally the most overpowered thing in existence. Plus the fact that her bracelets can block lightning? Sorry, Thor, better off sticking with fights against dumb brutes like the Hulk.

Um... okay.  Didn't know she had this much power.  Something tells me she goes all super saiyan, loses control and Thor pulls a 1-over, but I could be wrong.  Off topic, if that sword can literally cut through atoms and has all this OP'ed shit, how do think she would do against Doctor Doom in his armor?

Looks like this is going to be a classic battle of an immovable object meeting an unstoppable force. My money is on Wonder Woman. If her sword really is that powerful, she'll be able to destroy Mjolnir, and her bracelets can easily block anything Thor throws at her. Also, she could totally wrap the lasso around Thor and get him to spill all of his weaknesses. Or, you know, just hang him because it's unbreakable and Thor's massive neck and weight won't snap it.
