i honesty wish theyd prioritized the smaller commun ities first over the big ones, like yeah you live in a big city, must be nice being able to catch the dragonites and charizards, btu the ppl that live in small towns are SOL, i live just outside a major city for my area, and theres NOTHING, not even fucking ratatatas and pidgeys, theres one pokestop

A good list of suggestions. Being disabled, it's incredibly difficult for me to play pokemon go, and I live in the country, so being able to to request a pokestop location would be really amazing as I basically cant play as I cant walk around and theres nothing around where I live...

Our gripes about the tracker is already being beta tested in SF and works almost exactly like you describe it. It shows up separately from the "Sighting" list and is labeled "Nearby". All nearby Pokemon have a picture attached and clicking on one will bring up a closeup with a "View" button. Clicking the view button will show it on your map with a pink circle and footprints and you'll be tracking that Pokemon. You can choose other Pokemon in the same way. The good thing about this new tracker is that it tells you when the Pokemon leaves when you're tracking it. Works like a charm and I really hope they make this global.

To make people care abou the Pokémon they catch, maybe they can make it so that when you level and evolve one, the next time it levels it'll get a small bonus to CP? Something to make the level 10 Vulpix you catch early one worth keeping over the level 50 you might find later? As it stands I don't bother leveling a Pokémon until after I've fully evolved it.

#9: According to Niantic, these companion apps were really slowing down their servers. Until they get a facility upgrade, even an official app for this kind of second-hand assistance is a long shot. Right now, Niantic is too focused on damage control.

#7: Allow me to propose a compromise between the two systems. During (default/official gym) battles, players are given a 10-second time limit to decide on an action each turn. They can choose from one of their attacks, or select to swipe left or right to dodge. Attacks from henceforth will come with different areas of effect. Single-spot attacks will certainly be the deadliest damage dealers, but for weaker but assured strikes, there will also be attacks that occupy multiple spots, or even affect the entire arena. If a pokemon successfully dodges a certain number of times, they are rewarded an extra action to be used at any time in the battle (required number of successful dodges for effect to activate will depend on each pokemon's new Speed stat). It's a quick-thinking rock paper scissors esque battle system that should satisfy both the new casual mobile audiences, and the player-base of the original Pokemon games.

#5: An opportunity to add in Pokestops already passed by not too long ago, via a survey site. Alongside upgrading Pokestops to Pokemon Centers that'll now also heal your collection, these new proposed Stop suggestions are always in consideration.

#3 is already in the works. In select Pokemon Go accounts, the tracking system is so much more advanced, to the point where when a trainer selects to track a particular 'mon, it will pinpoint the exact coordinates of any around the area, complete with a photo of the area as a clue. Again, because of PR and damage control, who knows when this version will become global.

#2: This. All of this. And there's an easy way to implement that. You know that star icon that players can click on to declare a pokemon their favorite? Make that some sort of equivalent of EXP. Share! For every time another mon is fed or goes through training, for every number of kilometers a player punch in, for every action that rewards CP to one pokemon, the favorited monster also gets a share of the CP boost. Of course to not make this exploitable, players can only favorite 1-2 pokemon at a time.

Speaking of CP, as the video says, there REALLY needs to be better ways to gain CP for your partners. Getting similar families for candy and training at gyms are the only methods so far, and both make things practically a slow-paced mud road for the rarer ones like Kanghaskhan and Chansey. A redditor recently proposed a 'leash' item that can be bought in store that trains the pokemon based on how far you walk during that set amount of time. This is unanimously getting praised and should become a future feature.

Speaking of future features, here are some:

Day Care Center- Alongside the shop, there can be a Day Care Center where players can use pokecoins to buy eggs. The longer-distance eggs will obviously cost a lot more. Players can also come here to sell unwanted eggs for coins as well. If the servers can handle it, there can also be a minigame in here that allows trainers to use something like a treadmill to jog in place for a certain amount of time and close in on that distance hatching requirement. For those frustrated with the specific speed required to have distance count to hatch eggs, or for those that simply can't afford to travel very far at the time, this would a very desirable feature that still entails the exercise agenda the Pokemon Company has been desperate to enforce the past couple of years.

Legendaries- Legendary pokemon have already been teased since the very beginning, with an artificial Articuno even breaking out and being shot down before it could really fly free in public. In order to make encounters with these beasts as significant as possible, I believe this is the best way to do it:

    1. Only one legendary pokemon per trainer. Because of this, when captured, the mon in question will by default be at max CP for every trainer level. Because of this, much like in the Battle Towers of old, legendary pokemon are barred from gym battling, to prevent abuse of power. They can be used in future standard battles between trainers, upon agreement from both parties involved.

    2. First phase of a legendary encounter will be similar to a gym battle. Others can co-op to take down the creatures together, and it's actually advised for parties to organize for these events due to how formidable the legendary will be, capable of raid wipes if trainers are clumsy. In the case of the three legendary birds, only trainers of the same team can work together to take down their respective bird (Zapdos for Instinct, Moltres for Valor, and Articuno for Mystic). Once their HP reaches 0, the encounter shifts into the 2nd and last phase, capturing them just like any other pokemon. Take too long failing to capture it however, and the legendary will regain most of its health back and the 1st phase begins anew. Each time this reset occurs, the legendary regains less and less HP.

Ta Da! Alongside all of these fixes and ideas, Pokemon Go is fun again!

They should improve on the battle system, maybe give us the usual four moves instead of two and maybe some TM/HM

I literally quit playing because of all the issues, once they do a proper tracker, and things maybe I will return if sun and moon don't kill it

Supposedly later on each team will have exclusive access to their teams respective legendary Pokemon (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres) but if you don't care about that then picking a specific team doesn't matter.

I can agree on a couple of your points, but i think not having instructions is great. Having a game that doesn't hold your hand all the way through is nice. Plus I think this has lead to the creation of these online and elsewhere communities that are really making playing and finding things in the game more fun.

"Make us believe that you really care".

But they don't. Ingress has shown that well enough.
