Question: Were the bosses from Demon's Soul, the spiritual predecessor to the Dark Souls series, and the bosses to Bloodborne, a spin-off of sorts from the Dark Souls series, intentionally excluded from the list?

I mean, if we're talking about fun and fair fights, where is Bed of Chaos?

I think the hardest thing about fighting the dancer was how distracting it was... (Butt)

Yet getting her swords and armour made me look and feel cool for the rest of the game.

Also pvp became easy with those bloody weapons.

But the nameless king 100% gets top spot if we're talking difficulty. Probably took me the most tries out of any boss from Demon's Souls through to Dark Souls 3.

this list lacks in my opinion mainly because it doesn't  include dlc bosses. dlc bosses are the best bosses of the first (Artorias, Manus) and second game (Fume Knight, Sinh, sir Alonne) and are among the best in the third

10 - Not even mentioning Tarkus? That's just about the only reason Iron Golem is even notable, is because it's able to be bitch smacked by a lone NPC.
9 - I really don't get why Ancient dragon is even here above all other dragon fights in the series. Midir and Kalameet absolutely shit on this fight. It's far more balanced and fair, and the boss has more than like... three attacks.
8 - Belfry Gargoyles are okay here, if only because it's the first time for many players that you get that true "Welcome to Dark Souls feeling."
7 - Why the actual hell is this even on here? It's one of the bosses maybe halfway up the ranks if you include every boss, but it REALLY has no place in a top ten Dark Souls 2 bosses list, much less whole series.
6 - Gaping Dragon works, it's probably one of the best designed bosses in the series. 6 might be a bit high considering there are so many better bosses in the series.
5 - I'm honestly just surprised to see Darklurker here at all. It's one of my favorite bosses, and one of the best mechanically designed boss fights in the series. Not bad at all.
4 - Bigs and Smalls are about good around here.
3 - Dancer of the Boreal Valley I don't really see why it should be here. Their given reasoning is relentlessness, but.... Honestly there are way better bosses for it.
2 - Sif this high up? Maybe around the 8 mark, but... 2?

1 - Nameless King. Mkay. It's a cool boss and all, and has great music and lore, and such... But...

I mean... There are so many missed bosses here. Manus? Artorias? Kalameet? Sir Alonne? Fume Knight? Sinh? Ivory King? Abyss Watchers? Soul of Cinder? Twin Princes? Sister Friede? Midir? Gael? Nope. Duke's Dear Freja. Because lawlbuttspider. You get some points for Darklurker being on here, but ultimately a fairly mediocre list.

Ah yes. Because God forbid someone's favorite bosses are different than your favorites.

Smoke, that's a very fair point, and crosses off quite a number of the bosses that bother me that aren't here. But Spence, there's a difference between a favorites list and a top ten list. A top ten list tries to use some form of logic. And when it comes to Dark souls, there are a lot of fairly clearcut winners. Just look at the works of people like Demodcracy, and you'll see what I mean. In terms of Lore, Mechanics, Design, music, difficulty, etc, there are bosses that are clearly better than others. That is why I believe this list is mediocre, they seem to not really use any logic or anything in deciding these placements.

Good gawd another person on the internet that doesn't understand opinions or subjectivity.

Also I didn't mention Tarkus because I'm not a scrub that needs NPC help.
