Wow, I would say that's some pretty bad hatred for Dunsparce...Except it is completely warranted.  It is so bad.

As someone who can be quoted saying. Out of all Current...what 802 Pokemon. Dunsparce is my most hated Pokemon of all time. I was iffy about him being placed at it only being #9 on this list.

Then I watched the rest of the Video and Ya I totally agree it deserves to cover 3 spots.

I for one love Dunsparce.  I can't attest to how it is in battle, but I love its dopey features.  Maybe it's because when I was growing up, I had pets that would make Darwin have an aneurysm and I learned to have affection for the pitiful little bastards.

*Shrugs* I don't think Dunsparce is that bad (certainly not bad enough to warrant 3 spots on the list). I might've put Smeargle on the list since it was an interesting idea to have a Pokémon to copy moves permanently with "Sketch" but it's pathetic stats pretty much makes it useless. Also Unown was cool in the movie and anime but yeah it's pretty useless. So overall I like the list.

Well as a fan of Generation 2, I kinda question Dunsparce's existence and seeing it appear three times on this list makes me wanna question what it's even capable of.

Stat wise it's actually not bad, and as a normal type it has a pretty varied moveset. If built right, it actually has really good type coverage, and it's serene grace ability can make it a powerful combatant due to the increased status chance said ability grants......

Actually, I didn't have any trouble with Whitney's Miltank. If you catch a Drowzee on Route 34 and trade it for a Machop in the Goldenrod City Dept. Store (5th Floor), Machop, as a Fighting Type, will be Super Effective against Miltank. And Fighting moves were actually good in Gen II (not like Gen I).

I don't normally rely on in-game trades, but considering the infamy this Miltank has and that this particular Machop is the only Fighting type that can be obtained prior to that battle, this is a trade you really need to do to save yourself some aggravation.

Dunsparce is one of my favorite pokemon actually. It's dumb looking, for sure, but in a "so weird it's cute" kind of way, and it has the potential to have a very powerful moveset if you get one with Serene Grace and some of the elemental moves with status chances. I'd happily waste a masterball to catch a shiny Dunsparce.....

In Blissey/Chansey's defense, the eviolite wasn't introduced until about 3 generations after Blissey was even introduced. In the generation it was introduced, that thing was like a mega sponge.

Gonna have to go by this list 1 at a time.

    10. Yeah, they suck. Don't forget that they tend to use Self Destruct.

    9. Yeah, the fuck is Dunsparce anyway? What did they base it off of?

    8. Pro-tip, use fighting moves. Never had a problem myself.

    7. Seems like an odd reason to hate it, really. Logically sound, but I was expecting comments on looks.

    6. You used him already. Not complaining, but still.

    5. Ah yes, a classic case of "Gimmick before gameplay."

    4. Well, the title card gave that away.

    3. Gameplay evolves around it here, poor thing.

    2. You can spell dirty words in your PC, that's appealing.

    1. Somehow, I feel like this should've been obvious.

Dunsparce is actually pretty legit for a para-flinch strategy.
