HOLY CRAP WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS
Oddly enough when a friend of mine told me about this, Sephiroth's Super Nova attack actually takes place in a Demi-Plane of existence that Sephiroth created, thus sucking his opponents when he dose the move.
The Demi-Plane itself is recreated every time Sephiroth dose Super Nova.
Huh... That's interesting. Though the move is still pretty crazy. I expected Sephiroth to have some powerful moves but I didn't expect a move so over the top visually (the funny thing is the move isn't even designed to instantly KO). I just want to beat the dang boss already since I already had 5-6 defeats after super long battles.
Indeed, I even have an interesting opponent in mind for Sephiroth for an upcoming Death Battle Fanon once that moment arises as well, it will in fact be a "follow-up" to Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII VS Dart Feld from The Legend of Dragoon.
Speaking of Cloud Strife if he ever dose return to Death Battle, Dart Feld should be his next opponent, in fact its something that Cloud Strife "should of fought against" back in Death Battle Episode 22 if you ask someone like me, Link from The Legend of Zelda on the other hand should be rather set against Simon Belmont from Castlevania, due to the fact those two have a lot in common for different reasons and a legitimate rivalry since the 1980s (no joke here, if you play both Zelda II: The Adventures of Link & Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, you'll notice how that rivalry first began in addition to how similar those two games are).
I think 'Link vs Cloud' was a cool battle in its own right but I'm open to more Cloud and Link battles. Legend of Dragoon sounds like it might be a good series to match up Final Fantasy VII with, but it might be harder to convince Death Battle of the match ups since LoD seems like a lesser known series.
Since I've wrote the fight back on Death Battle Fanon I actually have told a lot of people about Cloud Strife VS Dart Feld for obvious reasons.
I wasn't keen about seeing Link fight Cloud Strife from the start and a number of things where rendered unfair about the fight, Cloud Strife for example would be able to "instant kill" Link with just Finishing Touch alone. Further more, if we take Zelda II: The Adventures of Link into account since Link has Healing Magic then we have to give Cloud Strife Healing Magic as well, and Cloud's Healing Magic easily "trumps" Link's outright.
And the only known way Link "can" counter Finishing Touch is if he was given Bottled Farries which also means we have to give Cloud Strife Healing Items as well as he can hold up to 99 Elixirs, see where I'm going with this?
That episode alone has caused various people to feel "iffy" for a number of reasons and I wasn't keen about Death Battle Episode 22 from the start, and I say this for all due respect.
Hmm ok, haven't thought about that move. I don't know enough about everything the characters can do to argue (because they both have pretty large arsenals from the look of things).
It's a scar that will be permanently left on your gamer mind.
