As I suspected there was little to no internet in the Adirondacks. I was able to sorta keep up with twitter although I know I missed many tweets.
I wanted to make this update yesterday but I had to take my car to the garage and the stupid computer decided it HAD to update (and all the crap that goes with it) meaning it was not available all day.
The weather was perfect for the days we were there and we spent all day outside everyday.
As I said, I do not consider myself either a landscape painter nor a watercolorist. I worked very small and tried several different styles.
All of the following were painted outdoors, on site while dealing with bugs, etc.
Log and rock in foreground with boat in town
Views of Racquette Lake from our lodge
Racquette Lake from the village with an apple tree
We visited a conference center camp where all the buildings were log cabins
Playing with different styles in the woods
Tomorrow's journal will cover today and tomorrow.
