      Job 10.6

...that you must search out my faults and probe after my sin...

      John 11.25

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die...

Many times in the Bible we can see this affirmation: we are sinners and we need God. Some are very offended by that. I've heard countless times people saying: "I've never killed anyone, never stole anything... Why should I be forgiven?" But what was the last time that you heard someone saying "I never made a mistake" or "I never committed a sin"?

Those who steal are known as thieves. Those who lie, as liars. What about the sinners? Why are we so offended to hear that we are sinners if that's the truth?

The Bible reminds us that we make mistakes. A lot of them. And sometimes God doesn't approve of those mistakes we make. But don't worry: God Himself made a plan to help us overcome those mistakes called sin.

Jesus gave Himself for our sins. He, who had no sin whatsoever, decided to pay the bill humanity had pilled up. We are such big sinners that we crucified Jesus, even though He was completely innocent. You may say that you weren't there, so you didn't crucify Jesus, but He made that sacrifice for you and me and sometimes we take that sacrifice for granted and keep sinning, just ignoring all Jesus made for us.

In Jesus' sacrifice, we are saved. We owned a lot and He paid the bill. We were in the wrong, but He made it right again. He died for us, so we can live through Him. If we believe in Jesus. The Gospel shows us that Jesus in not going to "force salvation" on you. He said that He is resurrection and life. We need to believe in Him.

Don't despise what Jesus did for you. Do the opposite. Live happily, with Jesus, everyday.

      Job 15:33-35

He will be like a vine stripped of its unripe grapes, like an olive tree shedding its blossoms.
For the company of the godless will be barren, and fire will consume the tents of those who love bribes. They conceive trouble and give birth to evil; their womb fashions deceit.

If we take a good look at our generation, we start to lose faith in the world. It seems that everybody it's just worried about themselves. We don't care anymore about what right or wrong, just what's best for me. Some look at the politicians and say they're to blame. But then, times passes, new politicians appear, just as corrupt as the old ones, maybe even more. If you stop to analyse, we can understand that in democracies you have the government you deserve.

We live in times where people what to bend the rules if it benefits themselves, but want "justice" when it's for the others. People think: I don't want to wait in line so I'll find a shortcut, but I'll get really angry if someone does the same to me. That's nonsense! Why can't we be fair to everyone?

If you stop to read comments online, you'll only get disappointed. One of these days I was reading one about a music album that I wanted to buy. The comment said something like this: This cd is really good, but the problem is that is not free. I shouldn't pay for that. Only stupid people pay for want I can find for free online. hahahaha". It's sad that all the time I speak to people that think that stealing something online is OK, but would never do the same at the local market. Shouldn't you be correct in all places and not just when someone's looking?

The Bible tells us that is good to do what's correct, but you'll probably be persecuted. Why? Because we live in a world filled with sin, so when someone do what's right, care about the others and try to love their neighbors, they'll go head against what the world is about today: selfishness, self-love and greed.

      Matthew 5.10

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

It's not easy to try to leave a correct life, but God tells us that it is worth it. It's good to do the right thing, for you and those around you. That your life may be a blessing and you may make a real effort to do what is fair and just, not just when it's about you, but specially when it's about the others.
