I generally don’t write a lot of journals however I feel like this one is necessary. I know not everyone feels this way but I’ve seen enough journals/threads/posts talking about the problems with the switch over to this new site to feel that a large majority of people probably do. What I have seen a lot of is people asking:
“Why did they switch over to this new site when it’s not finished?”
Adam answered this in his journal here http://roosterteeth.com/post/51000462. I suggest everyone follow Adam’s posts since they talk about what he’s currently fixing and planning on fixing next. People seem to think there were no problems with the old site, but you are only viewing it from the user perspective. Think about a bridge that you are driving on that looks perfectly fine but all the support beams are starting to crack and crumble. Based on Adam’s journal I assume that is the situation the old site was in.
“What’s with all these notifications!”
Ya the notifications thing is annoying. This is not something that is going to continue, Adam posted in a more recent journal that he’s planning on fixing that. Which is once again why people need to watch Adam’s journals since they give you this important information.
Long story short. They are working on everything you are already complaining about. They know it wasn’t done when they launched it. Just be patient, or take a week off the site and come back to see if it’s improved.
