One night I was browsing iTunes and saw the RWBY soundtrack's album cover. I thought, "that looks cool, what is it?" I then proceeded to watch every episode of RWBY that night. I fell absolutely in love with it and bought the soundtrack. Then I shared RWBY with everyone I knew, which wasn't many people, because I was (and still am) suffering from crazy social anxiety that led to my leaving college at the end of 2013. 2014 was a rough year for me trying to get my life back together, but I had been fortunate enough to click on Rage Quit: Cat Mario as a recommended video after about my third time rewatching RWBY. I laughed so much because of the AH videos and then discovered the rest of the RT shows which I grew to love. Watching all these crazy people doing crazy things and the amazing things they still manage to create made me realize that I really want to entertain people the way they do. I realized that I want to voice act and bring to life characters like the ones that first introduced me to the RT community. I am now back in classes and on the path to doing what I love. Without RWBY, I don't know where I would be right now.

I know I'm not the best writer ever, and I don't know if anyone will even read this, but I don't know any other way to express my gratitude for the impact Monty has had on my life. I'm sorry I will never be able to thank Monty for all the hope, happiness, and inspiration he has given me. I hope he is busy brightening up the afterlife or creating one if one does not exist. If anyone can do it, he can.

Thank you so much, Monty Oum. May you rest in peace.
